PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas (KETK) – Payne Springs Fire Rescue (PSFR) removed a pedestrian that was trapped under a vehicle that had struck her on Tuesday night. BROWNSBORO — Six students from Brownsboro High School signed to continue their respective sport or activity at the next level on Monday morning inside the Brownsboro gym. Twins Khayla and Khyra Garrett will go to National Park College for basketball. Madi Hernandez is also going to National Park College for soccer. LaRue man charged in shooting death of wife
HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A LaRue man is in custody after what authorities describe as a failed murder/suicide. Raymond Franklin Wade, 72, was charged with murder by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office after a Saturday incident at Wade’s resident. Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said deputies were dispatched to that residence shortly before 9 a.m. in response to a call about a murder and attempted suicide. Hillhouse said that, following an investigation involving the Texas Rangers, it is believed Wade shot his wife, Rhonda, before turning the gun on himself.
