A Gulfport resident landed in jail after a search warrant turned up a smorgasbord of controlled substances in a Clemson Avenue home, according to police.

Police say that on May 6 at around 6:20 p.m., the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant in the 15100 block of Clemson Avenue in Gulfport, at the residence of Kiara Deshun Moton, 35.

The unit said it discovered about 50 fake pills containing fentanyl; more than 100 oxycodone pills; marijuana divided into separate units for sale; several doses of MDMA/ecstasy; and a firearm.

The narcotics unit charged Moton with trafficking a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (marijuana and oxycodone) and possession of a controlled substance (MDMA/ecstasy).

Deputies arrested and booked Moton into the Harrison County Jail. Bail was set at $110,000.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration assisted in the investigation.
