Golfweek confirmed the news via online court records in Palm Beach County, Florida, as did McIlroy’s communications team. In a statement to Golfweek, McIlroy’s team stressed Rory’s desire to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible and noted he will not be making any further comment.
