    Darke County to provide tornado relief funds to low-income families, individuals

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services recently granted Darke County tornado relief funding to help those affected by the March 14 tornadoes .

    Households that qualify will receive either $750 or $1500 in disaster relief assistance.

    Disaster loans available to Darke County tornado victims

    To qualify, you must meet criteria in one of these categories:

    • Have a minor in the home
    • Aged 55 years or older
    • Are a disabled individual

    Applicants must have a household income at or below the 200% federal poverty level.

    Forms must be completed and submitted at Darke County Jobs and Family Services, located at 631 Wagner Ave., in Greenville. Darke County JFS will accept applications through the end of the business day on April 30 (4 p.m.) or until funds have been exhausted.
