Greenville United FC hosts meet and greet ahead of season opener

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — On Friday at the Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, the Greenville United Football Club hosted a meet and greet with the fans.

The event featured things like a bouncy house, Kona Ice, food and of course meeting with the players of Greenville United.

For the fans, it’s a chance to meet the players up close who they will be cheering on this season. For the players, they look forward to engaging with the community and to feel the support from them throughout their home games this season.

Luc Achermann-Stanfield says the fans play a big role in helping get those wins.

“It’s massive. As players during the games we need the fans to boost us all and encourage us if we’re losing if we’re winning to help us go on to achieve big things this summer,” Achermann-Stanfield said.
