GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — An alert was sent out early Monday morning about a report of shots fired on the North Carolina A&T State University campus.

Just after midnight, NC A&T sent out an AggieAlert saying that “UPD is investigating shots fired inside of Barbee Hall. No injuries reported. UPD is on scene. Stay clear of the scene.”

About twenty minutes later, they sent a follow-up alert writing that university police were still on the scene, asking anyone with information to call (336) 334-7675.

Just before 1 a.m., about 40 minutes after the initial alert, they sent out another AggieAlert stating “ALL CLEAR!! UPD has cleared the scene at this time. If you have any additional information contact campus police at 336-334-7675.”

There have been no updates on what led up to the possibility of shots fired or if anyone has been arrested.
