Novara , 2277 Holmgren Way, includes 152 units split between two towers both connected by a first floor of retail and tenant spaces. He said Novara's location at Holmgren Way and Cormier Road puts residents within walking distance to a lot of key services and local businesses, too. "Being able to develop on a prime corner like this, it's such a great location," Liebhauser said. "Everything is within walking distance. It's really a special experience we're proud of." In 2001, excessive costs made developers to scrap plan for Menasha mansion
The Sensenbrenner mansion in Menasha was a historic home, but was never listed on the state or national historic registers and, in 2001, developers eventually won the fight to raze it. The home at 995 Brighton Drive in Menasha, was built around 1929 in the English Tudor Revival style by local industrialist John Sensenbrenner on the site where the Brighton Beach summer hotel once stood. It was then known as Sand Acres. The home was sold in 1948 to the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, according to an article printed in the June 4, 1948 edition of The Post-Crescent. The building and the 40 acres it sat on was used as a rest house and retreat by the Sisters. In 1978, the retreat was sold to John Bergstrom, who used it as his personal residence. According to a July 18, 1978 Post-Crescent article, he said the property would remain largely unchanged, stating, “I like it, very much, the way it is.” By the time Brighton Beach Development LLC purchased the parcel for redevelopment in 2000, it was owned by Appleton chiropractor James Rouse. Neenah architect Stephen Gries partnered with Dan Schott of Menasha to develop the property. Their
