The incident occurred on I-95 southbound in Greenwich around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, near Exit 5. NCPD: Three Arrested Following Reports of "Shot Spotter" Incident in Freeport
First Squad Detectives report the arrests of three (3) Freeport men for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 2:34 am in Freeport. According to Detectives, Freeport Police Officers were notified of a shot spotter incident in the vicinity of Main Street and Leonard Avenue. An officer in close proximity when the call was dispatched observed a grey 2008 Honda CRV with dark tinted windows flee the location of the shooting at a high rate of speed. The officer activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop. There were three (3) subjects seated in the vehicle.
