North Laurel softball makes thrilling comeback against Boyd County
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The North Laurel Lady Jaguars came back against Boyd County in the state softball quarterfinals, winning 5-4 at John Cropp Stadium Saturday afternoon. Behind a 5-run seventh inning, North Laurel came back from a four run deficit to advance to the semifinals. The Lady Jags will play Assumption on Fri., June 14 at 3:30 p.m.

HINDMAN — The 14th Region championship was decided by a pitcher’s duel. Unfortunately for Hazard, Estill County pitcher Jax Niece came out on top of the pitcher’s duel against Hazard’s Gaige Logan and Trace Kincaid as the Engineers picked up a 2-0 win over Hazard to claim the 14th Region championship last Friday evening.
