Bearcat Ryan Williams Named to D2CCA First-Team All-Region Baseball Honors
(Maryville, MO) – Northwest Missouri State baseball’s Ryan Williams has been named to D2CCA First-Team All-Region honors after a phenomenal season. Williams led the Bearcats this season in batting average at .391, slugging percentage at .690, hits with 72, runs with a total of 50, 18 doubles, led in total bases with 127, and walks with 48. The Kansas City native was so persistent at the plate this season alongside those stats, breaking the walks record that formally was held by Brandon Huske and Nick Gotta at 45. The utility player ranked second in on-base percentage for the Bearcats at .523 which ranks 23rd in the nation. The junior also ranked #6 on Northwest’s single-season total bases list with 127.

(Maryville) -- Maryville girls soccer has used a pair of losses at the end of the regular season to fuel their state tournament trip, which gets underway Saturday.
