(Burlington Junction) -- One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Nodaway County late Friday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on northbound U.S. Highway 71 roughly two miles east of Burlington Junction shortly after 10:45 p.m. Authorities say a 2016 Honda Accord, driven by 49-year-old Briley Giamalva of Archie, was northbound on 71 when it traveled off the west side of the road. The patrol says the vehicle struck a field entrance and went airborne before hitting the ground and overturning. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels facing southwest.
