A summer reading program is giving children in Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools the opportunity to compile their own personal libraries. The school district’s “Take Home Summer” reading program kicked off Tuesday, May 14, at Pasquotank Elementary School. Each child in grades pre-K through five was presented six new books to take home to read over the summer.
