    GRPD: 18-year-old faces manslaughter charge in stabbing

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say an 18-year-old is facing a manslaughter charge after a man was stabbed to death Sunday in Grand Rapids.

    Isiah Williams was booked into the Kent County jail Sunday, online records show.

    He faces a manslaughter charge in the death of 50-year-old Lynn Edward Jones, which has been ruled a homicide, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

    GRPD: Man dead after stabbing, suspect in custody

    Around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to Alpine Avenue NW near 7th Street NW for a stabbing. They gave the man, later identified as Jones, medical aid, but he ultimately died at the scene, according to GRPD.
