Michigan State Basketball rounds out its roster with the pickup of Szymon Zapala to improve the team's frontcourt depth. Michigan State Basketball head coach Tom Izzo is known for not being a big fan of the transfer portal and doesn't get a ton of players there. He did land a big name earlier on in Frankie Fidler, a 6'7 forward from Nebraska who scored 20.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg on Omaha this past season. He'll be the replacement for Malik Hall in the frontcourt on the roster.

Lansing Township firefighter, paramedic identified as one of the victims killed in Clinton County crash
LANSING TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing Township Fire Department announced one of the victims killed in the deadly Clinton County crash on Saturday was one of their own. 30-year-old John Esch, a Lansing Township firefighter and paramedic, was killed—along with a family member, Daniel Harris—after being struck by a car in Watertown Township on May 18 while they and their family members were walking to a relative’s home. Many of his family members were injured, including his wife.

LANSING – Police released the name of a woman killed in a homicide Thusday night, and a Lansing man has been charged in connection with her death.
