Former MSU football WR gets in-state high school head coaching job
Andre Rison is known as a legend at Michigan State. The former wide receiver spent 1986-89 in East Lansing, helping the Spartans win the 1988 Rose Bowl. Following his time with MSU, Rison had a 16-year NFL career in which he racked up over 10,000 yards and winning the 1997 Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers.

Diamond Classic Title Game Set
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - It will be Williamston vs. DeWitt for the championship in the 62nd Diamond Classic high school baseball tournament. The teams will meet at 7pm Monday at Michigan State’s McLane Stadium. They met once during the regular season and played to a tie in a game halted by weather. DeWitt has won three previous titles and Williamston is making its first appearance in the championship game.
ELHS Students Paint Murals at East Lansing Elementary Schools
East Lansing High School (ELHS) AP art students are hoping the murals they created have a positive impact on elementary school students. The students painted Second Step murals at each of the six elementary schools in the district.
