Autobahn looks at Benbrook for potential car dealership; Clearfork plans unclear
Fort Worth’s Autobahn is exploring a site in Benbrook as a possible location for a car dealership, according to documents obtained by the Fort Worth Report. Autobahn asked the city for a change to its comprehensive plan March 1 regarding almost 52 acres of land at the southeast corner of Interstate 20 and Winscott Road. The lot is currently used for agriculture, but the future land usage plan allows for some commercial uses, excluding auto sales and services. The amendment sought by Autobahn would allow the land to be used for a car dealership.

Helen Louise Beaudry, formerly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died April 18, 2024, in Granbury, Texas. She was born October 29, 1927, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Thomas and Helen Mentzel. Helen spent her childhood in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Helen started her career at General Electric and travelled between several GE facilities across the USA. She met her husband Jack Beaudry while on an assignment at the GE Jet Engine division in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jack and Helen were married on January 2, 1954, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Helen spent years raising her children prior to continuing her career as head of Quality Assurance Engineering for TRW Reda pump. Helen and Jack stayed active in retirement traveling the world. Helen’s passion for playing cards and specifically duplicate bridge resulted in her achieving life master status. Helen has a sharp mind and wit which was demonstrated when playing card games with her family.
