Neighborhood association looking to raise funds for playground upgrades
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - You can find the Meadowbrook in New Haven. Some neighbors there are trying to put their time and effort together to raise money for a new playground. Stacey McDaniel is the HOA president for the Meadowbrook community. She grew up there and moved back to raise her daughter. She tells us her mission is to improve the park.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 42-year-old Fort Wayne man accused of driving under the influence when he hit and killed his 1-year-old son last May has been arrested. A case was filed against Matthew Merritt last week but the charges – neglect of a dependent, causing death when operating a vehicle with a controlled substance and reckless homicide – were dismissed due to the charges being incorrectly reflected in the case’s cause number, court records show.
