North Wildwood Beach Replenishment Work Continues This Week
North Wildwood’s massive beach replenishment project continues this week. Governor Murphy came to the city before the weekend to meet with local officials about the project that will place sand as far south as 23rd Street in the city. More than 700,000 cubic yards of sand will be placed on the beach. The state and the city had been at odds over this project until it was finalized.
Cape May Closing Dog Park, Open Franklin Street School Library Next Week
Cape May city officials say the dog park will be closed next week, starting on June 10th, for refurbishing work. Also next Thursday, city officials and employees will be on hand for the opening of the new Franklin Street School Library. That event will be held June 13th.
