Louisiana Man Charged with Drug Possession After Traffic Stop Leads to Major Bust on US 59
A Louisiana man was nabbed with a hefty haul of illegal drugs last month after a traffic stop turned into a major drug bust. Gary Hamilton, hailing from Natchitoches, Louisiana, was pulled over by an officer from Chief Weighat's Criminal Interdiction Unit on US 59 for a traffic violation. Suspicion of criminal activity led to a search, during which the officer found Hamilton in possession of three bags of marijuana, one bag of ecstasy, and approximately 507 grams of methamphetamine, according to a Facebook post by the Splendora Police Department.
