Buffalo softball punches their ticket to the state tournament
BUFFALO, W.VA. (WCHS) — In Class A, Buffalo doubled up Ravenswood 6-3 to advance to the state tournament. Buffalo will face Petersburg in game two on Wednesday, May 22. Kelsey Brock had a pair of hits for Buffalo, including a triple and it was also a two-hit night for the Bison's Kimmie Dillman. Brooke Meadows hit two doubles for Ravenswood.

$5.2 million grant to fund full-service marina at Lock 27 in Proctorville
PROCTORVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) - The location of the old Lock and Dam 27 is a scenic access point to the Ohio River. Local leaders have maintained the property but have envisioned long-term plans that would need proper funding. Last week, Governor Mike DeWine announced a $5.2 million grant that will pay for a full-service marina at Lock 27.

Marshall basketball announce Rob Fulford as new associate head coach
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Marshall announced Rob Fulford as associate head coach of the men’s basketball team Tuesday, according to a news release from the university. Gallia County man 'found safe' by deputies following search
GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — UPDATED - 5:00 p.m., 5/11/24. Deputies have located the Gallia County man who went missing Saturday morning.
