Baby Boy Born on I-270 on Thursday
Healthy baby boy Conrad was born on the shoulder of 270N on May 25 at 5:51 PM. Dad reports mom and baby are doing great (photos below). Heading to the hospital, the paramedics from Rockville Station 23 delivered the baby near exit 9, Sam Eig Highway. Mom and dad report the delivery was very quick and unexpected. Mom’s water broke as the ambulance pulled into their driveway and 20 minutes later a healthy 7lb 8oz, 20 inch baby Conrad made his entrance into the world. Montgomery County Circuit Court juries this week convicted a man for murder and for assault of two victims in Rockville, in a stabbing spree that occurred in September 2022. On Monday, a jury found Scorpio Alexander Stanfield, 32, guilty of first-degree assault for the nonfatal stabbing of one victim, according to the State’s Attorney’s Office. On Thursday, a separate jury convicted Stanfield of second-degree murder of Silver Spring resident Jonathan Lawrence Moore, 35.
