Pulaski man faces federal charges in connection to storming Capitol on Jan. 6
WASHINGTON, D.C., Va. (WFXR) — A man from Pulaski is now facing several charges after he was accused of storming the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riots in 2021. Court documents obtained by WFXR News revealed that the FBI allegedly received several tips from the public about Carson Rees. Tipsters allegedly sent the FBI screenshots from Rees’s Facebook page of Rees at the attack, and pictures from social media that allegedly included Rees detailing his day during the riot.
Pulaski County man charged in death of 25-year-old man
PULASKI COUNTY, Va. – A Pulaski County man has been charged in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office. This comes after deputies were called to the 4800 block of Lee Highway for a report of a disturbance on April 2. Once at the scene, they found Chad O. Pennington, of Hiwassee, dead.
