Ulster Habitat awarded $38,100 for affordable housing
KINGSTON- Ulster County Habitat for Humanity has just been awarded the Habitat Strong grant, worth $38,100. This grant is administered by Habitat for Humanity International, and sponsored by James Hardie Siding, State Farm, and Simpson Strong Tie. This grant will be used to help build affordable housing in Saugerties, NY, in the new Hope Springs development.
5/28/24: The bridge is out in Kingston
A key bridge in the city of Kingston, Ontario has been closed for two months now. It's creating a hassle for commuters, and it's blocked St. Lawrence River tour boats from leaving the harbor.
