City of Morgantown presents final report for Ruby Summer Concert Series
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The City of Morgantown is reporting another successful season for attendance at the Hazel Ruby McQuain Park Ampitheater. City of Morgantown Arts and Culture Director Vincent Kitch announced on WAJR’s Talk of the Town that approximately 54,000 people attended live shows at the ampitheater as part of the annual Ruby Summer Concert Series and the 4th of July Celebration hosted over the summer. This was the result of close to a dozen concerts, including appearances by Everclear, Hansen, and 38 Special.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - West Virginia trick-or-treaters can turn leftover Halloween candy into cash this year while sending a taste of home to deployed troops. From Nov. 2-6, kids can drop off unopened, leftover candy at any Wilson Martino Dental, The Smile Defenders or TLC Dental office during normal business hours. For every pound of candy turned in, participants earn $1.

Clarksburg owed millions in unpaid fees, backs new collection legislation
