Springfield, Ill (WICS/WICD) — Four local Central Illinois teams were battling it out on Monday night for the chance to play at CEFCU arena in the State Semi-Finals. In the Class 1-A Super-Sectionals, Cissna Park took on Altamont at Blue Ridge High School. This game was back and forth early, but led by Grace Nelson, Altamont took the lead into the half. The Indians would lead by nearly double digits in the third but Cissna Park stormed back late in the fourth quarter before Altamont took the reigns, and didn't look back.
