The night that Santa Claus came to town
More than 100 children and adults attended the Moravia Library’s annual Photos with Santa event. The Jolly Old Elf and his helpers were kept busy all evening greeting the little ones, posing for photos, and handing out books and candy canes. Santa’s appearance was made possible by Roy Miller, with Amanda Smith as Mrs. Claus, Shaun Wubben as the Christmas Elf, Eva Wubben as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Cayson Smith as the rascally Grinch, and Angelina Rodriguez as Cindy Lou Who. Trish Albertson once again served as official photographer, taking scores of photos and posting them on Facebook so families could retrieve their little ones’ visit with Santa. Miss Moravia Ivy Wubben greeted the little guests and handed out candy canes. Several people donated cookies, which were served with hot chocolate. John and Stacy Baty donated books as a gift for each child.
