Asheville man arrested 114 times, labeled a 'habitual felon,' police say
The latest arrest of an Asheville, North Carolina, man is the 114th time he has been arrested, according to Asheville police. Police said James Rashanda Nesbitt, 48, was arrested Wednesday at an apartment complex on South French Broad Avenue. At the time he had open warrants for parole violation and larceny.

Rainbow paint vandalism on Beaucatcher Mountain rock face under investigation
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — An investigation is underway after vandals poured a rainbow of paint on the rock face of Beaucatcher Mountain along Interstate 240. Asheville police say officers responded to a call on Tuesday at around 4:26 p.m. of people pouring paint from the top of the rocks, often called "the cut." The property belongs to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
