Tom and Jerry’s restaurant hosts their grand reopening
Tom and Jerry’s, 1670 DeKalb Ave., held their grand reopening at 10:30 a.m. Monday after a devastating fire last year. Owner Diann Beaulieu started the ceremony with a two-minute speech before the ribbon cutting. The sidewalk, parking lot and tables were filled with the restaurant’s supporters, who also brought flowers and gifts. The ribbon was brought inside and signed by everyone who came out for the ceremony. It was displayed on the wall along with photos of the building’s progress.
