KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. - The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department said one person was flown to a hospital after a hunting accident Friday, Sept. 22. It happened at New Munster Wildlife Area. Officials said the person was "struck in the neck by a projectile" and taken to a hospital via Flight for Life.

This week in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, there were two incidents that required emergency response. The first incident involved a crash on Highway F in Randall, where a work truck and a pick-up truck collided, resulting in reported injuries. The second incident was an alarm on Grandview Lane in Twin Lakes, which was triggered by a smoke detector.

This week in McHenry County, Illinois, there were three notable incidents. First, at a Walmart in Harvard, Tiffany Castro, Jose A Salazar, and a minor were arrested for retail theft. Castro was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Second, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Mason Hill Road in Woodstock, involving a passenger vehicle and a box truck. There were no entrapments, but an adult female driver was transported to Northwestern Medicine for evaluation. The SAFE-T Act, implemented on its first day, has resulted in the release of individuals with serious charges and past criminal records. A man, aged 36, from McHenry City was arrested on charges including felony Criminal Damage to Property and Electronic Harassment. These charges are linked to claims of harassment against his former girlfriend. His criminal history includes a conviction in 2015 for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. Despite these charges, he was released under the SAFE-T Act.

(WFRV) – Pilots with the Wisconsin State Patrol will be monitoring traffic violations from the sky across five counties on five different days this week. Tichigan Fire Department was sent to a structure fire around 10:45 a.m. Firefighters arrived to see a single-story, multi-family home with heavy black smoke showing through the rear exterior windows and rolling out of soffits.
