TEXarkana man dies in wreck at Fouke
John William Phelps, 39, of TEXarkana, was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Miller County Road 22 in Fouke about 9:18 p.m. Tuesday. According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Phelps was driving a 2019 model Nissan Maxima west on the road. The car left the roadway on the right side, struck a power pole and a culvert. Phelps was ejected and died at the scene.

The most common type of crime was 'Suspicious Situation', with 49 instances, followed by 'Disturbance' with 30 cases. 'Theft' and 'Other' crimes both recorded 28 incidents each. 'Arrests' occurred 20 times, while 'Trespass' was reported 9 times. More severe crimes such as 'Assault', 'Burglary', 'Vandalism', and 'Shooting' were less frequent with 8, 7, 5, and 3 cases respectively.
