SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV)- The founder of the non-profit Fight the War Within appeared in court on Friday after being arrested on accusations of defrauding the federal government. Miranda Briggs was arraigned in the Federal Magistrate Court in Brunswick and accused of wire fraud and theft of government money, property or records and could face up to 20 years in prison and substantial financial penalties.
