BUCYRUS - Congrats to Galion's Kael Longwell for being named Telegraph-Forum Male Athlete of the Week pulling in 68.09% of the votes ahead of Colonel Crawford's Deagan Moore who garnered 22.93%.

> Galion's Cece Campbell opened the postseason 5-for-7 at the plate — three doubles, a single and a home run — with five RBIs and four runs scores helping the Tigers win their first sectional title since 2019.

> Buckeye Central's Grace Collene was 6-for-11 at the plate — three home runs — with 8 runs scored, 8 RBIs and 3 drawn walks; she also had 41 strikeouts in three starts.

> Colonel Crawford's Mira Holt won the long jump (15-09¼), 300-meter hurdles (50.33) and 4x400 relay (4:11.96) while also finishing as runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles. The Eagles won their fifth consecutive league title.

> Crestline's Lillian Higgins nabbed first team All-Mid-Buckeye Conference honors in softball.

> Wynford's Zoe Whitmeyer was runner-up in the high jump at the Northern 10 meet clearing 4-08.
