Norwich Tech's Maldonado voted athlete of the week
Norwich Tech’s Khai Maldonado was voted The Bulletin Athlete of the Week for the final week of the spring season. The Warriors junior shortstop went 4-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs to power Norwich Tech to a 15-2 six-inning mercy-rule win over Innovation in the first round of the Class S softball tournament. It was the Warriors first state tourney win since 2017.
