Since moving from Switzerland to Wilkesboro, N.C. in 2002, brothers Jens and Uwe Kruger along with bassist Joel Landsberg have found widespread acclaim and a devoted following for their innovative fusion of bluegrass, folk, and classical music.
The Kruger Brothers’ remarkable discipline, creativity, and ability to infuse classical music into folk music has resulted in a unique sound that has made them a fixture within the world of acoustic music and one of North Carolina’s most popular roots music groups.
Inspired by artists as musically diverse as Doc Watson, Eric Clapton, and Beethoven, The Kruger Brothers’ music epitomizes the spirit of exploration that forms the core of the American musical tradition.
Summer concerts are hosted Saturday nights, May through August, in the venues ’outdoor amphitheater. Gates open at 5:45 p.m. and concerts begin at 7 p.m.
Season passes (full, half, and Pick 3) and individual concert tickets are at BlueRidgeMusicCenter.org.
