Young Annasemble Spring Concert to be held on May 21

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Young Annasemble will present a fun-filled Family Spring Concert at 7 p.m. on May 21 at the Thomas Center (302 NE 6th Ave.). It will present music selections varying from musicals to spirituals and folk music.

YAS or Young Annasemble is a young people’s orchestra, under the organization of Annasemble Community Orchestra. Its members are 10-16 years old. They are joined by a few adults. The family music-making atmosphere is encouraged in this vibrant group. No auditions are required for participation; just the desire to make music together. In the course of a year’s regular rehearsals, the members develop their skills and the beginners learn from the more advanced players.
