CSUF College of Communications dean resigns amid controversy
Cal State Fullerton’s Dean of Communications Bey-Ling Sha has resigned from their position after nearly five years, effective immediately. The resignation comes after the Cinema and Television Arts faculty criticized Sha for her decision to remove CTVA Department Chair Garrett Hart after he held the position for 10 years. Last Friday, the CTVA faculty passed a vote of no confidence for the former dean, calling on University Provost Amir Dabirian and interim President Sylvia Alva to remove Sha from her position.
