Denton man charged with murder has history of domestic violence, affidavits say
Tommy Bays, who was charged Wednesday with murder in his ex-girlfriend Melonie Frye’s slaying, has a history of allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill his exes, according to police documents. Bays, 39, of Denton, was previously arrested and charged with assaulting Frye in 2023.
