LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Sports Council has unveiled the medals for the 40th anniversary of the Cornhusker State Games, set to take place from July 11-21, 2024. The Games will be held across multiple venues in Lincoln, Omaha, Columbus, Fremont, Grand Island, and North Platte, featuring a wide array of sports ranging from traditional events like track and field to less conventional competitions such as cornhole and chess.

The Blair Bears are on the road again to play Elkhorn North at 12:30 p.m. Blair's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Elkhorn North's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Blue Devils 10th at district
BLAIR — The Wayne High boys golf team ended its season Monday with a 10th place finish in the B-2 district tournament at River Wilds Golf Club. Junior Colson Nelsen shot a 97 to pace the Blue Devils, followed by seniors Caiden Backer and Joseph Woerdemann with 98 and 110, respectively. Freshman Dylan Jensen added a 114 and sophomore Mason Karsky shot 115.
