One night only: Canoe Creek hosting campout event in May

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — For one night only, Canoe Creek State Park is hosting a campout event for the community — but you have to act fast for a spot.

The Canoe Creek campout will take place Friday, May 10 to Saturday, May 11. For one night only, visitors can camp in a tent or RV in the park and enjoy fun for the whole family, including a bonfire, cold breakfast and recreational programs.

The park said some of the morning programs include a kayak tour, archery, fishing, kiln walk, and yoga, among other things.

Campsites are $25 per site and are first come first serve.

To register or get more information, you can stop by the park office Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Officials ask that you register by Saturday, May 4.
