Authorities find body of 22-year-old man in water of downtown Apalachicola
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 22-year-old Apalachicola man after his body was found in Franklin County Monday. Franklin County Sheriff A.J. “Tony” Smith said authorities found the body of Derwin Black Monday afternoon at Mill Pond in Apalachicola, which is near Scipio Creek and the Apalachicola River. The sheriff’s office is working with Apalachicola Police and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate the death, according to Smith.
