CNY COLLEGE NOTEBOOK: SUNY Poly ace Trinity Critelli pitcher perfect in 3-0 week
SUNY Poly softball pitcher Trinity Critelli (Frankfort/Frankfort-Schuyler) wasn’t just unhittable. She was perfect. Critelli, in fact, struck out 13 of the 15 batters she faced and finished with a five-inning perfect game in the Wildcats’ 8-0 victory over SUNY Morrisville. It was the second no-hitter and eighth shutout of the season for Critelli, who was named the North Atlantic Conference co-Pitcher of the Week after winning three straight starts and recording the 500th strikeout for SUNY Poly.
Proctor's Jason Angotti tosses one-hit shutout in baseball win over HP
Jason Angotti silenced the Holland Patent bats in a complete game, one-hitter for Thomas R. Proctor High School baseball on Monday in the Tri-Valley League. The Raiders won 3-1 and Angotti had 10 strikeouts while walking two. The one run he allowed was unearned.
