RUSSIA- A local resident is faced with a felony accusation in the wake of a reported disturbance in the Kuyahoora Valley area earlier this month, authorities are reporting. Benjamin M. Kraeger, 27, of Poland, NY was arrested Monday afternoon by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Kraeger is officially charged with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree.

Bridgewater, N.Y.-- A mobile home suffered heavy damage in a fire early Friday evening. The fire on Horseshoe Lane in Bridgewater was called in just before 7:30. Firefighters from Bridgewater, Clayville and West Winfield all responded. The fire was put out in about 30 minuets. The Bridgewater Fire Chief Tells NewsChannel 2 that the fire was caused by a wood stove and that no one was injured.
