Saginaw County woman gets 4-20 years in prison for stabbing girlfriend 16 times
SAGINAW, MI — Three years on, a Saginaw County woman has been sent to prison for stabbing her live-in girlfriend more than a dozen times. Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson on April 4 sentenced Nikki J. Cortez, 25, to four to 20 years in prison. Jackson gave Cortez credit for 92 days served in the county jail.
