LAURENS COUNTY (WSPA) – Law enforcement announced early Monday morning that one of four suspects remains at large after a reported burglary in Laurens County.

The Fountain Inn Police Department said officers were responding to a burglary in process Sunday at Gulliver Street.

By the time police arrived, they saw a man getting into a gray Nissan Armada.

Though the car did flee from officers, it did become disabled in the area of I-385 near Friendship Church Road.

Police observed three men and one woman leave the car attempting to evade police.

Officers were able to locate the woman who police later learned is 17-years-old. Officials believe the juvenile was the suspected driver of the Nissan.

Before 9 p.m., law enforcement announced two of the suspected burglars were apprehended.

Officers described the remaining suspect as a black male between 18-20 years old with a small beard.

Police said he was last seen wearing a white hoodie, blue jogging pants with white stripes on the sides and light gray New Balance shoes.

The suspect may have a firearm in their possession according to police.

The Fountain Inn Police Department requests that anyone who sees someone matching this description immediately call 911.
