Fort Worth Molson Coors workers spend 'May Day' on the picket line after 10 weeks on strike

More than ten weeks after going on strike, Fort Worth Molson Coors workers are still off the job and are spending this International Workers Day on the picket line.

May 1st, known as 'May Day' is observed by blue-collar workers around the world as the day to celebrate the working class. But it's been a tough ten weeks for workers at the Molson Coors plant where they went on strike on February 17th.

Speaking for their Teamsters local to the Fort Worth City Council last night, Roderick Bryant said that he and his colleagues will keep striking until they get what he calls "...good wages, good healhcare and respect."

Despite the prolonged strike, Molson Coors has reported shipments exceeding expectations for the first quarter.
