FWPD closes 2012 cold case
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is closing a cold case from 2012. 43-year-old Robert Jackson Jr. was shot and killed on July 24, 2012, and police say they have figured out who killed him. That was Emmanuel Freeman, who was killed in 2016. Police say had Freeman still been alive, he would be arrested and prosecuted for Jackson’s murder.
