A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning while walking on Deans Bridge Road in Augusta. The man, who has not yet been identified, was attempting to cross Deans Bridge Road and Lyman Street when he was hit by a vehicle, according to a news release form the Richmond County Coroner's Office.

An Augusta factory that makes industrial-grade "liquid glass" has selected a Pennsylvania contractor to design and build the factory's new production line.
