13 athletes off to state track
Montague County will have athletes from six schools competing at the state track meet in Austin later this week. All together, 13 athletes from Bowie, Nocona, Saint Jo, Forestburg, Prairie Valley and Gold-Burg will compete on the biggest high school stage to see if they can bring home a medal.
19th annual Bullfest coming to Saint Jo
Bullfest 2024 is almost here as organizers prepare an action-packed bull riding event on May 4 at the Saint Jo Rodeo Arena. This is the 19th annual Bullfest, so grab a good seat by 7 p.m. to watch the exciting six and under mutton bustin’. Any youngster who wants to ride a sheep should sign up between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per rider.
