PORT DEPOSIT — Pleasant View Baptist Church at 150 Downin Lane will be giving away clothing for every age — infant and up — Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18. The event is called Draped in Grace. Shop for free Friday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be racks and tables full of clothing — new and used — all in good condition and all free. Cook Out With Cops Saturday in Perryville
PERRYVILLE — Come watch the officers sworn to serve and protect instead flip burgers and turn hot dogs on the grill Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Perryville Police Department, 2 Town Center Drive. Everything at Cook Out With Cops is free including music, games and activities. There will be plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and drinks. This is an annual event bringing together the Perryville Police Department and its Outreach Program, which offers free after school and summer camp programming for children in town, and those who attend Perryville schools.
