Dog of the Week: Clover
7-24-26, spayed mountain cur mx, ~2.5yo, 47#, FOUND w/Nugget on SR50 & Township Rd 119, Coolville. Clover is a beautiful Appalachian mutt who has been riding an emotional rollercoaster at the Athens County Dog Shelter. Her favorite things are volunteer love, long walks, and being the center of attention. Clover is also dog selective and isn’t shy about voicing her opinions to management loudly and often. Thankfully, this sweet gal recently swapped the stressful shelter for a cushy foster and some much-needed snuggle time. She is decompressing beautifully, and we can’t wait to share updates as she settles into a routine. Clover would thrive as your one-and-only-furry-friend, or with experienced owners who have the patience to guide her through positive interactions with other dogs. If you have the routine she craves, Clover will give you a lifetime of love and snuggles. Schedule a meet by calling the Athens County Dog Shelter at 740-593-5415.
